All 5th grade students were given an extra credit project form on Friday, Nov. 7. Projects will be graded as a test grade. Projects are due Friday, November 22, 2019. No LATE Projects will be accepted. We are reaching back to a 4th grade standard because these current 5th graders only received a very brief summary of causes and events of the Civil War and working from our old textbooks. Thursday 4.28. 4.29 Stu. will compare and contrast the various sectional stances on states’ rights and slavery represented by the presidential candidates in the election of 1860, including Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas. Students will also evaluate the significance of the Battle of Fort Sumter and the impact it had on secession · Lesson 4 pp.102-107 · Create a Flipbook that compares and contrasts events.
