This week we are finishing our study in Science on the Solar System. Final Lesson 4 test will be this Friday. Monday--ESS1.1--Explain that differences in apparent brightness of the sun compared to other stars are due to their relative distance from the Earth. Vocabulary Words-- Star, light-year, nebula, white dwarf, supernova, black hole.
Use star maps to locate and identify constellations Wednesday--5.ESS1.6 Use tools and describe how stars and constellations appear to move from the Earth's perspective throughout the seasons Students will create and use star maps of the Northern Hemisphere. Thursday-Students will complete and review a study guide for Lesson 4. Friday--Students will complete Lesson 4 assessment. Students will design a constellation and write a short description about their constellation.
