Wednesday--Students will conduct an outdoor shadow activity to explain how the sun and Earth are related. Thursday--Students will identify the role of gravity and inertia in space. Students will manipulate and study Earth's tilt and movement around the sun to determine how seasons occur. Friday--Students will create vocabulary flip book and illustrate the 4 seasons. Grandparents Day for 5th Grade is Wednesday at 12:30. Lunches for grandparents is $3.75 (this includes a meet two vegs. a fruit, and a beverage) We hope to see many, many grandparents! Hello, I'm Katherine Reed. This is my 31st year of teaching and my 25th year at Richland. I am a graduate of the University of Mississippi where I received my undergraduate degree and masters degree in Elementary Education.
