Studies Weekly- Week 14 Tuesday and Wednesday Students will learn about the hardships immigrants faced and discuss the contributions of immigrants to American culture. They will also learn about Ellis Island and cities where groups of immigrants settled. Studies Weekly- Week 15 Thursday and Friday Students will examine the presidencies from Lincoln through Cleveland. They will define the terms of the Square Deal and learn about agencies created by Roosevelt.

Bonus Points---as always, I will give 5 bonus points to students who turn in vocabulary flashcards. Monday--Review lesson voc. Fossil, paleontologist, skeleton, endangered, and extinct Complete Scientific Explanation Writing Template Homework--Read pp. 96-97 in textbook, and complete p. 99 in workbook Tuesday--Students will research fossil fuels to determine how they are made. Students will describe different types of fossils and how they are created Wednesday--Students will create a model of rock Strata with fossils embedded. Thursday--Students will review module objectives by completing a study guide. Students will justify answers with a partner.
