Tuesday--We will be learning about the need for the South and TN to move toward industry and mechanization after the Civil War, including Coco Cola bottling in Chattanooga, mining on the Cumberland Plateau and others., including George Washington Carver and his peanut research. Wednesday--We will analyze the goals and accomplishments of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments. Thursday--We will study the Buffalo Soldiers that helped settle the West, including TN native George Jordan. Friday--Review weekly objectives
