Thank you for signing up for snacks for the TN Ready testing days! Feel free to send the healthy snacks and drinks in on Monday. You do not need to wait for the day you signed up for. Mrs. McNary is still looking for proctors for next week. If you can help from 8:30-11:00ish Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday next week, please let the office know.
TN Ready for Language Arts starts this week. It is very important that your child is on time and at school each day. If a student arrives after testing has started, he/she will be held in the office and then tested later in the day. We will be testing during the morning on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We will still be switching classes, but we will have an abbreviated schedule. We will take the TN Ready Math test next week. I have encouraged the students to find skills on IXL to help them review any skills they feel like could use more practice. I am really trying to help them to be proactive in their learning and to seek opportunities to strengthen math skills. Monday- Review of all 5th grade math skills; homework on adding fractions Tuesday- Review of all 5th grade math skills; homework on multiplying fractions Wednesday- Review of Fractions; homework on dividing fractions Thursday- Mental Math Quiz and Math Mystery Friday- No School
